The house is huge and full of charm. Each room had dry shampoo and deodorant and the bathrooms were fully stocked with anything you could possibly need! Would absolutely stay again. Also! We saw an adorable frog in the pond. Amazing! (July 2025)

"Wonderful"

Our daughter was graduating from SUNY Geneseo, so we decided to rent a house to family members could stay with us. The farmhouse was perfect. Very spacious! The grounds are beautiful. (May 2025)

"Heaven on Earth!"

So I have traveled all over the world. I am also from Brooklyn. The combination means that I am well qualified to comment on something like this. This house, this place, this area is truly an undiscovered gem. Everything about it is simply perfect. The house itself is a charming mixture of old and comfort. The grounds include a nightly sunset to rival any I've seen, a front porch and back patio that provide immediate access to the outdoors and then a back barn area and truly remarkable path cut into wildflowers that provided a daily morning and afternoon space to unwind and for me at least, make phone calls, most of which were facetime in order to share the wonder. We stayed here for an entire month, working for some of it which only increased the beauty and tranquility of the farmhouse and its surrounding areas. The small towns surrounding us, Avon, Lima, Geneseo all had wonderful restaurants which complemented the cooking we did in the lovely open kitchen. Letchworth, Watkins Glen, and more remarkable hiking and sights are within short distances. When forced to leave it felt like the end of summer camp and were were already planning our return. I suppose most people looking for a house in the country may overlook this particular one, but they should not. If you are looking for the country experience, the farmhouse experience, the nature, the slowed down, the quality time, then I have found no better option in all of my adventures. (August 2024)

"Wonderful home and stay!"

We had the best time at Kindred grounds! Peggy was an amazing host and was great at communicating during the stay. The house was fully equipped and had everything we needed for the stay. It was very spacious and clean. We will definitely be staying here next time we visit family! (July 2024)

Perfect location for those who want to cover Niagara Falls and the Finger Lakes. Beautiful and spacious house with plenty of outdoor areas. Peggy is super quick in responding and goes above and beyond in making sure you have a great stay. 10/10

"Fully stocked with everything you might need"

Absolutely excellent! Stunning little farmhouse with modern kitchen and fully stocked with everything you might need. Hosts were responsive to texts and so kind. They even let me borrow a gas tank to refill when our car ran out of gas one day. So kind!

Peggy was an amazing, patient host~ she worked with me to help me navigate through Airbnb and extend our reservation! Greg showed us around the house and was a genuinely friendly guy! The view is beautiful and everyone loved the house!

Thank you Peggy & Greg! Very nice, accommodating hosts! We were in town to help at the Veterans Hospital and this place was definitely a breath of fresh air from our normal travels. The house is very clean and the views are beautiful

"Close to the Finger Lakes and Letchworth Park"

We loved staying at the house. It was close to the airport as well as the Finger Lakes and Letchworth Park with an easy drive to all the sites. The hosts were so gracious and left us breakfast items to snack on while we took our coffee in the lovely outdoor patio. The house was roomy and felt like you were staying in a real home. The house has keypads on each door so you feel like yourself and your things are safe when you leave to go for the day. Check-in was easy and the hosts are very accessible. Highly recommend!

"Completely exceeded my expectations."

This was a very nice place to stay. I had to make a last-minute trip to that area and found this place on Airbnb. It completely exceeded my expectations. The interior of the house is beautiful and I really liked the room I was assigned. The exterior and grounds are beautiful also. Tammy and her mom Linda could not have been more accommodating to me.

We had a wonderful trip. Everything was exactly as listed. There were so many extra touches our host included that really made our trip special. They literally thought of everything and were very helpful and responsive. We loved time on the porch, and would definitely stay here again in the future. (August 2025)

We were in the Rochester area for a family event. We wanted a place large enough to accommodate those of us wanting to stay together as a group. The bedrooms and bed configurations fit our needs perfectly (combo of rooms with twin beds and queen/double beds). Having one bedroom on the first floor with its own bathroom was super convenient as we had one group member who has problems with stairs. That way she could stay with us and be included in all the activities. The kitchen was well stocked making it easy to cook some of our own meals and the dining tables were perfect for gathering. We also really liked the outdoor patio set up. Again it was perfect for the group we had. It was a great place to come back to and relax after a long day out doing things. We also had a member of the group who loves long walks so the grounds and the total area are perfect for walking or running with very little traffic. I would highly recommend Tammy as a host and Kindred Grounds as a place to stay. (July 2025)

"Lovely pastoral Retreat"

What a gorgeous setting for our family stay. The farmhouse is lovingly restored and maintained with every need anticipated. There is a lovely patio where we grilled near the fish pond! The hosts were super friendly and accommodating with quick responses. Definitely a great place to stay for a family/friend reunion. (May 2023)

My mother, mother in law and sister threw me an amazing bridal shower here. The staff was incredibly kind and responsive to our needs. The environment was cozy and intimate and I had a wonderful time!

If you are thinking of having an event here, you should. Not only is the space awesome, Tammy and her staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. If my wife and I get married again for some reason, we'll do it here!
